High shear mixer

Overview:

High shear mixer is a kind of blending machine. As it adopts high speed mixing mechanism( rotary disc saw tooth type mixer), it can make strong turbulence flow at the local area, achieving dispersion and homogenization of the product by the mixing. Thus, this kind of speed mixer is usually called disperser. The disperser may be divided into lift type and vessel type. And the lift type disperser can be further divided into hydraulic lift type disperser, pneumatic lift type disperser and hand-operated disperser.

It is also referred to as speed mixer. Applicable for coating, dye, ink, pigment, cosmetics, resin, adhesive, emulsion, petroleum etc.

Different industry’s liquid and liquid-powder type product high speed mixing, dissolution and dispersion, with speed 0-1400 rpm adjustable.

The lift type speed disperser can be categorized per its functions as single shaft disperser, dual shaft disperser. Speed disperser’s speed adjusting usually adopts multiple speed adjusting( such as in water based coatings), and EX variable speed adjusting( such as in oily coatings) etc. multiple forms. It can be categorized per way of lifting as mechanical lift, hydraulic lift, pneumatic lift and hand operated lift.
 

Work principle:
 

Lifting speed disperser’s saw tooth rotary disc rotates in high speed in the vessel, completing the dispersing, wetting, depolymerization, mixing processes.
①Makes the serous fluid flow in circular rolling, generating strong swirl. The particulates on the serous fluid surface settles to the vortex bottom in spiral form;
②Forms a turbulent region 2.5-5mm around the dispersing disc, pulp and particulates being homogenized, sheared and impacted;
③Outside of the region, two up and down beam currents formed, the pump being sufficiently circulated and stirred.
④Beneath the dispersing disc of the disperser, laminated current forms, with different flow speed pulp interactively dispersed, achieving the effect of dispersing. The speed disperser has the functions of the hydraulic lifting, 360 degrees of rotation, variable speed adjusting etc. It can be equipped with 2-4 vessels simultaneously , with hydraulic lifting travel 1000mm. 360 degree rotation function can meet one machine multipurpose requirement, shifting working in one vessel to another within a short time, greatly improves work efficiency and reduces labor intensity.
